- COc o1 day ago3.0fitting room staff was slow and held up the line and some racks were cluttered. there were also lots of carts all over the place full of merchandise just sitting there. dont buy birkenstocks here, they put their Nordstrom sticker on the cork where it cant be removed fully, leaves a sticky residue, irritates your foot (until I scrubbed it with a paper towel), but even after that it left a very obvious mark.

I brought a pair of Birkenstock Arizona slides to the register, and the employee (Alicia B., per my receipt) told me the pair I had was “incorrect” and not the right item. That would’ve been fine, mistakes happen… but there were multiple identical pairs in the same area with the same pricing displayed. Instead of honoring the listed price or clarifying the discrepancy, she instead just scans the box (not the shoe) and charged me full price with the explanation of “that’s just the price”. After leaving, it was nagging at me… I looked up the exact same shoes and found I was charged nearly double what they’re currently selling for online and at Nordstrom Rack… This is incredibly frustrating… not just because of the price difference, but because of the lack of transparency and the fact that this came from a manager. Customers should be able to trust the pricing they see on the floor, or at the very least receive a clear and honest explanation when something is wrong. I’ll be returning these at a different location, as I don’t feel comfortable dealing with this store again. Very disappointing experience.
