BEWARE probably my stupidity or just naive. Had several 18ct gold custom made rings that i took to them.
Both rings contained rubies that were over 100 years old, based on previous valuations for insurance.rubies were from earings that were given to my mother when she was young, her family was wealthy, she lived to103yrs.I was only offered $'s based on estimated weight of rings. No compensation for the rubies/diamonds/emeralds. Why did I sell them, have no more family no kids, now widower 2 yrs, don't need the money. Needed to disassemble the shrines of past life. As the days go on from my transaction I feel more exploited. Beware!

I brought my jewelry into Wares jeweler, which I have known, Mr. and Mrs. Ware for several years now. They have turned the business over to their children, which are doing an excellent job. The event that they held to bring in your jewelry , you are no longer using was an excellent idea.
Mason was the gentleman that Worked with me. He was professional, kind and understood the sentimental value on some of the pieces that I had brought in. I do believe he gave me a fair price and I will definitely see them again when they return in six months.
It was also a very efficient, I thought I was going to be there for hours as they sorted through, but they are so good at what they do. It was only about an hour. They are excellent at what they do..

Extremely disappointed this year. Last year 5 stars. The young woman that I was assigned to work with was worse than a sketchy, bad suited used car salesman with very little knowledge. Yet spoke down to me as if I haven’t clue. Early 1900’s Omega men’s pocket watch, verified gold through my jeweler, she tried to say she these are a dime a dozen, everyone had them and she couldn’t prove it was gold as she had a tool trying to open the case. I finally asked her to stop. She informed me she’s from the watch department so she knows what she’s doing and she could only give me $80. (We turned down an instant offer $8k last yr. from this company. trying to find more historical information on the watch). Brand new unworn white gold chain- $15. And a diamond bracelet I do not wear often, tried telling me she can’t verify if it’s gold or gold plated and the diamonds were small and of poor quality and went on to state that is why her generation likes lab grown diamonds because they are perfect without inclusion. Finally stated she could only do a few hundred on the bracelet, unless I had more information on it. (I was not going to share that with her) She was very proud of herself thinking that she’s selling her bs story. It’s incredibly disappointing to have such a janky, arrogant individual that is completely clueless to what she is handling.

5/6/26 2:15pm. This company set up in Downtown Stillwater Minnesota at the local Stokes jewelry store and had a number of tables set up with Buyers who measure, weigh and inspect the jewelry or whatever it is you bring in and then make you an offer. They have a whiteboard which they set the jewelry on right pricing on there for you to decide what you want to do. We thought it was well-organized and professionally operated and I can't tell you about the prices because I didn't research anything before I went. Some things they bought others we took back home with us. They were in town for 3 days so tomorrow is the last day. At the end of the process you need to sign saying that you do own these products and then a check is printed right there at the station. When you enter the store the greeter ask you some basic questions like what do you have and where did it come from such as was it inherited did you purchase it and so forth and then in a matter of minutes had to set up with the buyer.

I took some old coins, for my mom, to the National Rarities event at Bryan’s Jewelry today. We have been to a couple of these prior to today and have always been treated so well and what I feel are very fair pricing for buying our silver and today, some coins. Today, I was assigned to Logan. He was a pleasure to work with. Great personality and sense of humor all while being professional. He took his time and explained some of coins and answered any questions I had. Again, I felt like the amount paid for the coins was very fair. I would also like to give a shout out to the young man who got me signed in. I am so sorry, but I do not remember his name. However, he helped me bring in an extremely heavy bag of coins, as well as, helped me get a rolling bag of coins out of the back of my vehicle to roll in. He, as well, had an amazing personality and very customer oriented. When I received the check, he offered to help me get the coins that I didn’t sell, back in my vehicle. Overall, I highly recommend this company!!
