  Love this store. Every time we come in the cashiers are always so helpful. The store is super clean and have a lot of good quality options.

  Bought our wedding rings for 1,200 dollars and the ring size testers they have are incorrect. The test sizers fit perfectly and the ones we got are the same size on the order but I can barely get mine off and on and the other cut my wife's hand and she bleed all over herself. We are getting them resized at maxon jewlers the place we should have got them in the first place. Dont get your rings here.

  I honestly don’t recall if I’ve ever left a one star review. I work in hospitality and I think one star reviews are just really rough to actually achieve. I walked into JCPenney At the Battlefield mall in Springfield, Missouri at 753pm. I knew that it closed at 8 PM. I had three items to get. I knew the exact sizes I needed. And I know where those items are in the store. We’d been at a track meet and the track meet ran long, which is why I was arriving late - I also could not find the exterior main door so I entered through the mall.. I had items in hand and was walking to the register as they announced the store closing at 8 PM. They also announced that they would be locking the doors to the mall and so I went from the upper level to the lower level to be closest to those doors. As I did, so, I walked past an associate, checking out a guest on the upper level. When I arrived down the escalator, the associate had locked the mall doors. I did ask if they would be reopened and she said no. I asked where the closest checkout was, and she directed me to the other side of the store. I arrived to two people clearing their registers and a manager walked up to me and asked me if I would like to put my items on hold and return to pay for them the next day. It was 802pm at the time. I questioned why I couldn’t check out since I was in the store prior to closing, and I had my items in a reasonable time. I was told that all cashiers had closed the registers and they would not be doing any more transactions. We live over an hour from a JCPenney. The clothing I was purchasing was for a special event the next day. I will not be returning for items on hold. Ironically, as we started our business five years ago in Missouri; we would drive to this JCPenney and the one in Jefferson City to purchase items for our business. Literally, thousands of dollars of linens and inventory. Fortunately, we are no longer dependent on JCPenney for our business - and at this point for our personal needs either.

  White girl with brown hair in the jewelry department is the rudest person. My husband had purchased me a pearl set from here and the pearl fell out of the ring. Had to have it sent in. Went to get it back after months of waiting and it was the wrong pearl. Then the little girl at the jewelry stand kept putting my ring on. Why would you put on someone else's ring? Then when asked to take it off she got offended and refused to look at me. Won't ever buy jewelry from them after this horrible experience.
