- JJJanellMay 13, 20262.0I visited Duncan Jewelry today, hoping to get some inherited rings looked at after a recent death in our family. I explained that we were trying to determine whether the pieces were real because funeral expenses were higher than expected. Unfortunately, the experience felt very dismissive. The employee briefly glanced at the rings for only a few seconds, did not examine them with a loupe or magnifier, did not test the metal or stones, and immediately stated they were costume jewelry before handing them back. I completely understand that not every piece of jewelry has significant value, but I was disappointed by how quickly the items were dismissed without what appeared to be any real inspection. I came in looking for guidance and left feeling brushed off during an already difficult time for our family.

My classic watches are getting more valuable over the years and I don't want to take them anywhere else to be taken care of and order replacement parts if necessary. Their jewelry selection is on the same level as jewelers back in Philadelphia, and they can personalize jewelry and make custom work to meet and surpass anyone's expectations. I have nothing negative to say about them because the staff make us feel like close friends in their home. They even let me have their good quality ink pens so I can use them at my work!;
