- NINatalie IronsMay 10, 20262.0I am a DSW faithful shopper. On Friday, May 8th I walk in to look for a very specific shoe I already scouted online. As I enter I am greeted by what I presume to be a manager telling that the “registers lock in 15 minutes”. In all my years of working retail as well as being a patron, I’ve never had someone attempt to tell me the store was closing soon in this fashion. Others entered after me and I did not hear the same spiel be given to others. I spotted the shoe I was looking for, but needless to say, I made a conscious decision not to purchase.

She stands in the middle of the store on her phone the entire time texting and makes it seem like an inconvenience when any customer approaches her. I asked her where a shoe was located and she acted like I asked the world of her. She dismissed me and didn’t try to point me to where shoes like it would be. Her coworker was kind enough to step in and help.
