I've shopped here for the past 2 decades. I loved the Westport location, but they recently posted this sign. At first I thought it was for non-customers, but when we asked for the key, we were told there were no bathrooms for anyone. I come here with my kids. They always have to use the restroom. I'm not sure what happened here, but I can't come to this location anymore if they have no accommodations. I'm really sad about this.

When selling books, CD's, & movies, there's no consistency with how they come up with how much money they're going to offer. You can go in there with twenty different items trying to sell products, some might still in their original packaging, and the staff thinks $1.50 is acceptable for everything. They try to gaslight, like it's a good offer, but if you're not sure, they make passive aggressive comments like, "you don't have to take the offer." The biggest disgrace is the the fact their dumpster is full of discarded books. It's like, if you don't want the books, don't buy them or donate them to the public library.

The books are occasionally a good price. However, they don't have a restroom even for paying customers. They'll direct you to a nearby grocery store instead. For some reason that always annoys me about a bookstore. Do you want us to be able to browse comfortably or not? Go to Prospero's instead. It's right down the road, has a more interesting selection anyway, and they'll let you take a leak if you need to.
