  ​We had such a wonderful experience doing back-to-school shopping with my daughter at Plato’s Closet in Joplin! At first, we were having a hard time finding items that worked and had a long stack of clothes that just weren't hitting the mark. ​Everything completely turned around when the store manager, Lilian, stepped in to help us. She was absolutely fantastic—she practically became our personal shopper! Thanks to her amazing assistance and guidance, we ended up finding so many great deals and left with a full haul. Thank you, Lilian, for turning our shopping trip around! We'll definitely be back!

  i went in there with my friend and she gave them a bucket to look through and buy. we had something to do in about an hour so we asked how long it would be. they said 20 minutes. so we’re there looking around and 40 minutes go by. so we asked them if we could leave and come back because we have something to do. and then they said that they’ll look through it right now. so we’re like okay and they take maybe like 15 seconds and hand it back. they didn’t look through a single thing and said that they’ll were stained but weren’t. this is just making me mad. don’t sell stuff there because they most likely won’t look through it anyway.

  I have come to sell here a couple of times and everytime they only pick 1 to 2 items and say the rest are worn out when they haven’t even been worn before they are rude. Don’t sell here go to a different place. All the clothes and shoes they have are worn down and they say they don’t take worn down items when they clearly do. They pick the bags that look nicer and actually take there time doing what they’re supposed but when it come to bringing it in a less nice bag they just look and don’t buy anything

  Their clothes are trashy and expensive and they don't take good clothes. I brought in 3 boxes of nice clothes that I paud quite a bit of money for, they were at least nicer than what they have out to sell. They offered me $2 for one item and that was it. What a scamy and junky place. And the workers seem really preppy and stuck up, they don't wanna talk to you, they throw the paper in your face real fast and walk off before you can say a word. Not friendly. 2026
