- WSWaylon SheppardSep 15, 20261.0Update: now I have to find the time to drive 62 miles back to bass pro shop because the rod and reel combo I purchased for myself (made by bass pro shop mind you) is as crooked as a Sunday politician, it’s a two piece rod they glue together and obviously someone didn’t really care about quality control. Never again. I’ve spent over $600 at bass pro shops over the last month and after today I will just stick to online shopping. It just takes one bad experience to lose a customer. I went in to buy a rod and reel for me and my 3 yo old today, it was a great experience as usual until I went to check out, there was only one register open and then the lady had a problem with it, she told me to wait just a minute, then another 2 registers opened up and instead of just sending me over she pointed at them and the line of 6+ people (very rude people mind you) split in two so she sent me over to the other one, after I got into line a second time she IMMEDIATELY! Took another customer, when I looked over and said “are you kidding me?!” She looked at me like I just ruined her day, so now I’m mad and The hassle of so-called “customer service” and rude people in existence isn’t worth the time that it takes to leave the house, when I can just shop online. End of rant.

The staff was also very friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. Definitely a fun stop to browse, explore, and take it all in! 😊

- DCDonovan N Amanda CarrikerSep 3, 20261.0VERY UPSET!! my mother went into the store today and bought a gun, they told her she had to come back and pay to get her gun permit in order to conceal carry, THAT'S A BLATANT LIE, in Missouri, it's a open carry and conceal carry state without a permit needed. So, in other words, bass pro is purposely lying to their customers to get extra money for unnecessary things. If I find out they keep spreading these lies, there will be a lawsuit for falsifying information!!! ( Constitutional Carry state), it's been this way since January 1st 2017!!! That's very low of you bass pro
