Way to expensive for used clothing that looks dingy

Good place to shop. Bad place to sell clothes. They will take on brand items for the smallest price. Selling clothes on other platforms such as Depop is way more useful

Overall good, but some racks are too full and hard to look through for example the dresses.

I brought in name brand clothes some with tags still on. And they only took a pair of camo shorts for $4. They said the other clothes wouldn’t sell well..Most of these are plus size and they really need those sizes. And I’m sorry but yall will buy the hideous things you have on your racks but not nicer looking clothes? Honestly the plus size stuff they have isn’t even cute it’s bad patterns and terrible colors the majority of this store is based to smaller people. I’m not mad about it I just know I won’t come here again.

It’s such a privilege to have a place like Plato’s! Not many towns have stores where you can resell your items. I feel like a lot of the one star reviews come from people who disregard Plato’s policies and rules. They are pretty clear on what brands they want to accept, and at what price, on their website. Sure, you might not get as offered as much as you want, but the time that is saved from having to sell items individually is one of the perks Plato’s Closet provides. The staff at this location are organized, kind, friendly, and helpful. They are the quickest team I have ever met at Plato’s closet. The answer my questions without making me silly, And they handle my items with care.
My only concern is that I will see shoes that are damaged being accepted and sold for a little bit more than they should be. Though I understand this is a second hand establishment, the damaged shoes should be priced reasonably. I would also like to see more staff help with doors when people have multiple bags.
There is a young man, short black hair, clear skin (clock-it!) who is always super kind!
