Went to Bass Pro yesterday to purchase a 22 rifle. Found what we wanted and the card on the gun said it also came with a 25 magazine, and the clerk said the same thing. After we selected the additional rail and flashlight, we completed the paperwork. We looked at everything we the gun, and my husband asked where the additional 25 mag. was. The manager said, "Oh, that's a typo on the card attached to the gun." My husband, "Well, that's your fault. Are you going to go ahead and honor your ad." Clerk, "No." My husband picked up his credit card and said, "Then we won't be buying the gun." We walked away. We were willing to pay Bass Pro's premium price on this gun, because we have bought other guns here and often shop here for other things. We like to support local businesses. But this situation comes down to principle. This clerks and manager were not willing to honor the store's advertisement. They would rather lose an $800 sale for the cost of a 25 mag. cartridge. Unbelievable. We will NEVER shop at Bass Pro again!!

I dropped into Bass Pro Shops during my latest cross country trip and it is way more than just a standard retail store, it is a full outdoor destination. The wilderness themed design inside is absolutely spectacular, featuring massive stone fireplaces, taxidermy mounts, and a giant freshwater aquarium filled with local fish that is incredibly fun to look at. They have a truly unmatched selection of high-quality gear for fishing, camping, and hunting, plus an awesome variety of durable outdoor clothing and footwear. The employees are incredibly passionate, welcoming, and happy to share expert tips about the best local spots to check out in the area. It is a fantastic place to wander through and get completely inspired for your next big adventure in nature.

Wild that you guys would BULLY people in to get a credit card and being a Bass Pro club member every time they come to a Bass Pro and the duration of their shopping trip when ya’ll don’t even have the decency to bother having tap to pay - like every other establishment in the American- so they can use it off their wallet on their phones. Leave people the hell alone if you’re not gonna bother making your card accessible. I feel like being your “club member” is a farce.

This rating could have and should have been 5 star. Bought a used 2022 boat sight unseen based on pictures and information on their website. Boat was 99% perfect when I placed my deposit. I’m coming from out of state to pickup in 10 days. They place the boat outside, obviously with nose down. There is copious amounts of rain in the forecast everyday. The boat has a cover but was not put on. See the pic of another boat (same as mine). It has cushions side to side covering the entire front part of the boat. This was the perfect setup for all the front cushions to get 100% saturated. Nose up and it would have run off. Better yet, put the cover on so the boat is dry and in the condition it was in when I agreed to purchase with my deposit. Mold begins to grow in 48 hours and will thrive in the boat cushions for years to come. It is a major health hazard. I wanted my like new boat, instead I have a major problem to deal with costing me time and money. IMHO, this is total negligence on their part. They had an obligation to keep the boat in the condition it was when I placed the deposit and they failed miserably. At their Service Center, where they store and prepare the boats for delivery, they had at least 6 people working, including a “Manager” and other titles of responsibility. My question was “there was a boat cover to fit the boat. Why didn’t you use it?” They have no explanation because there is no explanation. IMHO, it’s either incompetence, or they just don’t care. It’s not their boat so no worries. Totally unsatisfactory. I requested a call from the Boat Department Sales Manager and he kicks it back to the service personnel that couldn’t find their way to take 5 minutes to protect my investment. Most of these cushions have no zipper or drainage holes. Their solution, “Stand them up so the water will drain”. According to AI, even using the existing vinyl, new foam and replacement of vinyl $1,800 to $2,500. Before going that route, we have cut the backside of the cushions to remove and dry out the saturated foam. We spent our 1 week vacation not enjoying our boat but working on drying out our cushions before it was too late. I’ll most likely replace some of the foam and will take to an Upholstery Shop to sew the vinyl back up. My suggestion would be to buy your boat from folks that appreciate and care about their customers. A business that knows the meaning of good customer service and satisfaction.

I love this store, it's not as big as most Bass Pros, but still very good. One of the few places I still find 100% cotton clothes. Bathrooms usually very clean. It is expensive though.
