  I have loved buying squishy toys from here in the past and have previously done my shopping for those items pretty much exclusively at Kiddywampus. I recently purchased the small cupcake squish with the craft beads inside and honestly loved it so much! However, within only a few hours, it had popped. I thought, what a bummer. However, not a big deal, the exchange policy for these is great at Kiddywampus, I’ll just bring in my receipt and show the cashier and explain the situation. And I also understand that squishy toys do break, that is their nature, and for 3.99 it really isn’t shocking that an adult broke a kids toy on the same day that it was purchased. So, a couple of days later I get the time to go in and replace my cupcake squishy - I got the same color wrapper and everything. Quite literally the NEXT DAY it pops!!!! Again!!!! Wtf?! It’s not worth it for me to come in again, and I doubt that the product would be miraculously better this time. I’m not the “let’s try a third time and find out” kind of person. I’m not saying I would stop shopping here, but I am disappointed in the quality of this squish. Especially because I love it so much! I am sad and now looking for a different squish toy from online somewhere else!

  There are little trinkets on the back counter for people to see, but there’s an imaginary line where people can’t cross. The cashier could have a different tone when talking to children, specially since it’s a toy store whose target market are those children.

  I am changing my review based on the great follow up of my past experience that I left a review for (still preserved below). I believe that the kiddywampus leadership took my complaint seriously, sought to understand the problem so they could better it for future shoppers, and attempted to reconcile the experience. I will visit again. PAST REVIEW: What an amazing toy store with great toys! Service was terrible. I wouldn’t go back based on that alone. The 2 items I asked if they had in stock (full well knowing that they did I just needed location), they told me they didn’t have. I felt like a pain for asking. I ended up finding the item even though they told me they didn’t have it

  Staff is very helpful when shopping for kids! I can always ask what to get for friend's kids and be pointed to what's in style right now.
