  Page, at the roseville location was absolutely outstanding. this was my first time there and she helped me with everything. I didnt even need to try on tons of clothes. she knew everything just by looking at me. Thank you so much Page!!!

  I went out tonight to do the thing i hate more than anything else in the world, which is shop for clothes. At 6'3" and 290, big broad shoulders and a barrel chest, there arent a lot of stores that carry stuff for me. Enter DXL big and tall. So i go in and start talking to Chris. Big dude, big personality, friendly as can be, and just remarkably helpful. Told him i was there to get some new formal wear for a wedding i was going to in California next week. Told him what i was looking for, and he went right to work. The first jacket he pulled for me was exatly what i wanted. He presented several options but right out of the chute, Chris nailed it. That should have been the end of the transaction, but i really needed more help with pants, a shirt, and a tie too. He then recommended we do a cool new thing that i think was called "FitMap", which is a two minute process in a dressing room where you strip down to boxers and a touchscreen on the wall tells you to stand in a couple different positions and it measures all of your dimensions and then saves it in your private account that you set up with the store. It then spits out the recommended sizes of suitcoats, shirts, pants, vests, whatever you want to buy based on the real time measurements. Super cool. With that info in hand, we quickly put together a smokin' outfit for me. Chris had a bunch of options for color combos that we noodled over until we got the heat cranked up to the smokin' level. At that point we also had a little help from Peter, who was managing the store that night. Got to the cash register and the total was more than i wanted to spend (what can i say, im going to gravitate towards clearance and sale items as often as i can). It always is at specialty shops, but as i was paying, i thought to myself that the level of service i got in the over an hour i was there was absolutely amazing. And as i said before, shopping for clothes is an activity i absolutely hate, but thanks to Chris and Peter, it was collaborative, engaging, and actually a lot of fun. THAT is worth a lot to me too. In the end, the old adage holds true yet again: "You get what you pay for". And as i get older, Id much rather pay a little more for a great experience and great service than fend for myself at the department and other formalwear stores. Huge thanks to Chris and Peter for making this a fantastic process and a great experience. You earned a lifetime customer for the store tonight. We will see you again very soon.

  This was online, and not in store. I am extremely disappointed that most of your rewards and coupons are so restrictive you can’t use them on any purchases. What’s the point of a birthday reward or 20% off a purchase if said purchase has an exclusion of basically ALL products.
