Boating center- I recently purchased a 2026 ranger deep v fishing boat. This was a huge accomplishment and was supposed to be an insane day for me - however I just happened to throw my back out a few days prior to picking it up. I was in so much pain, I didn't know if I'd even be able to go through the process, but seriously they made it so easy. I didn't have to lift a finger. Everything was sealed, closed, charged, paired, assembled, registered, you name it, they did it all right there. All I had to do was drive away with a boat. I would recommend them as a boat dealer, and will definitely be purchasing from them in the future. They know what they're doing. They were also all really nice too.

I've been stopping at Cabela's for years, and one of the things that keeps me coming back is the people.
Most of the time, I'm simply passing through the area, but I almost always find myself making time to stop in. Whether I'm browsing, looking for something specific, or just seeing what's new, the staff has always been friendly, professional, and willing to help without being pushy. That's becoming harder and harder to find these days.
I've spent quite a bit of time in the Gun Library and firearms department over the years, and I've always appreciated the knowledge and patience of the staff. They take the time to answer questions, explain options, and make the entire experience enjoyable. It's clear they enjoy what they do, and that enthusiasm shows.
What I especially appreciate is the selection. Beyond the new firearms and outdoor equipment, there always seems to be something unique waiting to be discovered. As someone who has spent many years collecting military surplus firearms, law enforcement trade-ins, historical firearms, and other collectible pieces, I've become fairly selective over the years.
Like many longtime collectors, I've reached the point where I'm not looking for more things—I'm looking for the right things.
That's one of the reasons I enjoy visiting the Gun Library. What interests me are the firearms and collectibles that have a story behind them. Whether it's a military surplus piece, a police trade-in, a collectible firearm, or a unique historical find, there always seems to be something worth taking a closer look at. For collectors and history enthusiasts, that's part of the appeal.
One of the things I enjoy most is that the inventory is always changing. Every visit feels a little different from the last, and there always seems to be something new to discover. The hunt never really ends—it just moves on to the next interesting piece. More than once, I've stopped in "just to look" and found something I didn't expect to see.
Over the years I've been fortunate enough to add several truly special pieces to my collection, and more than a few of them were discovered while browsing the Gun Library. Some of my favorite finds have been items I wasn't looking for at all when I walked through the door.
Just as importantly, I've found their pricing to be fair and realistic. In the world of collectibles and historical firearms, that's not always a given. Time and time again, I've come across interesting and unique pieces that represented good value, which is one of the reasons I continue to stop in whenever I'm passing through.
My wife has learned that when I say I'm "just stopping in to look," there is a reasonable chance I'll discover something interesting that somehow follows me home. She may not always agree with my enthusiasm, but even she knows I enjoy the hunt as much as the purchase.
Beyond the products themselves, what stands out to me is the atmosphere. The store is clean, well organized, and feels like a place where outdoor enthusiasts, collectors, sportsmen, and families can spend time exploring and learning. It's more than just a retail store; it's an experience.
As someone who has spent nearly three decades in customer service and business management, I pay attention to how organizations treat people. Great customer service doesn't happen by accident. It comes from hiring good people, training them well, and creating a culture that values customers. The team at Cabela's has consistently demonstrated that.
Whether I'm stopping in for a few minutes while passing through town or spending time exploring the Gun Library, I always leave glad I made the stop.
Thank you to the staff for always being helpful, knowledgeable, and welcoming. You've earned my business many times over, and I'm sure you'll continue to do so for years to come.
