- CWCarissa WolfJul 21, 20261.0We went to the Sunglass Hut inside Macy’s to get a pair of sunglasses we had just bought last month repaired. They weren’t able to fix the loose screw, and even told us “we shouldn’t have been sold that pair in the first place” as it appears to have a molding defect. We were directed to this standalone Sunglass Hut. The employee here was dismissive and immediately blamed my husband for the damage. They also referred to the sunglasses as Ray-Bans, even though they were Maui Jim, which didn’t inspire confidence. We left feeling disappointed and won’t be returning. On the bright side, the Sunglass Hut associates inside Macy’s and the Maui Jim customer service representative were both very helpful, which made the experience at this particular location even more surprising.
