  My boyfriend and I went here and worked with Flame. She was so on top of it, patient, and attentive and knowledgeable even though it was a busy weekend. Wonderful experience! 🤍

  Went in last month to look at some rings with my boyfriend at the glowing recommendations of several family members and friends who love Shane Co, and I had some questions about settings and rings I’d been looking at online. I already knew exactly what I was looking for and what I wanted, but needed to see in person and ask about customizations. We got a sales rep pretty quickly, but it was super busy and we got handed off to Emily. We saw some of the rings I liked online but I wasn’t totally loving any of them. When she went back to grab some other styles, I looked around on my own and found the perfect ring. We were talking about some of the baskets and then she brought out the stones so we could see what they looked like with the setting and so we could compare between carat sizes. My boyfriend was asking some general questions about the clarity and color options with the stones that he didn’t know about, and things kind of got weird? I don’t know how else to describe it. Emily became really rude and snippy with him, and made some snarky remarks like “well do YOU want to work here then??”, challenging him to tell her what he thought the color and clarity of the diamond was, I guess to prove she was the expert? She kept pressing him on budget and timeline, which he clearly stated at the beginning and several times throughout that he wasn’t going to discuss with me present, and then she got frustrated and walked away. We were left staring at each other like “what just happened?” and when she came back, she asked me to go to the front lobby so she could talk to him alone. He came back out pretty quickly and said he didn’t give her his info because she wasn’t getting his business, and we were never coming back. We were not rude or disrespectful at all, and were asking sincere questions about the things we didn’t know about, so I have no idea if it was just a bad day for her or what was happening. I cried in the car because I really loved that ring, and I’m heartbroken it was such a bad experience. We’ve gone to several other stores in the area, but I keep coming back to the ring I saw there that was my dream ring. Just unfortunate that we may not be getting that ring because of one sales rep’s attitude or bad day. I hope this was a one-off and others haven’t had this experience with her or at this location.

  We purchased our third piece of jewelry from the Minnetonka store today. Bethanie helped us out. We were looking for a ring for my right hand. Bethanie was amazing. Not only did she allow us to have our own journey in the store looking at rings, she contributed to it by noticing small intricate details about what I liked by what I was picked out to look at, and by how my wedding band looked and helped us find things that embodied those traits. Of all the rings we looked at we chose one she picked! She was so thoughtful and kind and fun to work with! Thank you Bethanie, and thank you Shane Co. Best, Nicole & Scott Carel

  I purchased my wedding ring from Shane. My husband bought me a band from another jewelry store a few years later. An employee from Shane told us if we soldered them together it would be treated as one ring and we could receive Shane customer experience. I went in today to get my ring resized, everything was good to go until they found out the band that was soldered was not theirs...it would be $600. We left pretty disappointed.

  We came in for a simple cleaning and Michala ended up helping us buy more jewelry… that’s how it works, but she was so friendly and easy to work with we could not say no to some of the pieces she showed us. We highly recommend her!
