  I was shocked to see some of the bad reviews this location has gotten. Big shout out to the girls working 9/28 in the morning shift. Two total sweethearts! There was a line starting to form before it opened and working retail, I know that’s annoying as heck sometimes. The employee was ready to open the door right on time and had a smile on her face. The selection of clothes was amazing! I got brand new Abercrombie jeans for $15 and many great basic tops for my upcoming trip to Europe. Some locations don’t have a lot of plus size clothing in general but even large is hard to find! I was very happy with the wide variety they had for all sizes. Also, another big shout out to the girls working the register. She actually helped me last year around this time for my trip and it was nice talking to her again! I actually prefer this one over the Maple Grove one

  This is a dumping ground for people who have outgrown their fashion nova, shein, and target items. Just a store filled with junk. Employees don’t say much, I prefer it that way. The place was clean.

  Brought in all new/barely worn on trend clothes. They only took one item due to being “selective”. Both employees i interacted with had attitudes like they hated working there.

  I was extremely disappointed with our experience at Plato’s Closet today. My daughter was looking at a sweatshirt displayed on the end of a clothing rack that was wrapped in plastic. She was excited because she wanted to buy it. An employee with dark, wavy hair abruptly walked over and said, “Don’t touch that. That’s for our back-to-school opening.” The problem is that a large portion of the store was wrapped in plastic or otherwise blocked off, yet there were no signs indicating those items were not for sale. This is back-to-school shopping season—the exact time customers are coming in to buy these items. If merchandise isn’t available for purchase yet, it shouldn’t be displayed on the sales floor without clear signage. What made the experience worse was the employee’s tone. There are polite ways to explain that something isn’t available yet, but this interaction came across as rude and unwelcoming. Customer service makes a huge difference, and unfortunately this experience lived up to some of the negative reviews I’ve seen about this location. I hope management takes the time to coach staff on customer service and either removes unavailable merchandise from the sales floor or clearly labels it so customers aren’t put in an awkward situation. We drove a long way to walk into a store and feel unwelcome. Do better!
