Once I got there I got good help right away and was directed to what I was looking for. The checkout person was also very helpful.

Trevor Johnson knows his stuff about fishing. He pointed out an amazing fishing pole (never had anything so smooth) and the amount of fish I caught on the lures he told me to get is insane. VERY RECOMMENDED!

To Patty (Best damn shoes saleswoman this side of the Mississippi),
I would like to take a few moments to congratulate some phenomenal customer service! Patty, working in the women's shoe section is a walking, talking, subject matter expert on stellar customer service! So much so that she even gave me a star from a retired US flag with a quote that says "I am part of an American Flag that has flown over the USA. I can no longer fly. The sun and winds caused me to become tattered and torn. Please carry me as a reminder that You are not forgotten". Patty read this quote to me and then handed this to me because it's her way to thank service members. I'm a retired SFC from the US Army and I cannot begin to tell you how much this impacted me and my wife (Whom Patty was helping buy a new pair of shoes). It brought my wife to tears! We both gave her a hug! But beyond this beautiful gesture of kindness and gratitude, she is one the best department store employees I have ever seen do her job. She found the exact shoes my wife wanted and needed and great pair of socks to boot (pun intended). I honestly cannot say enough! Employee of the year (probably all-time) in my book! Great job and thank you for remembering an old soldier like me!

I was looking for a place to take the ground children while it was raining,nd this store popped up as a suggestion... They have a very nice little aquarium set up in the entrance, and on the second floor there are multiple pieces of taxidermy from animals from around the world. Will you finished it off with some ice cream from the candy store and actually brought home a foam bat and ball since the grandchildren are playing baseball and softball. They also have a ferris wheel that costs a dollar per person. So if you need to kill a little time down in Eden Prairie , it's free and the kids liked it.

The shoes were fine; that was not the issue. The problem was my experience at the Eden Prairie, Minnesota location. It was honestly one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.
When I walked into the shoe department, there were about eight employees standing around talking among themselves and not helping customers. I picked up the shoe I wanted and stood there waiting for assistance. At least five of the employees made eye contact with me and clearly saw that I was holding a shoe and needed a size, yet no one offered to help for about eight minutes.
Meanwhile, two employees were assisting a white woman. After helping her, they walked her to the front of the store, even though they had already seen me waiting. At one point, one employee looked at me and laughed, which made me feel even more uncomfortable and ignored.
Eventually, I had to walk over to the stockroom door and ask someone myself for the size I needed. While I was waiting, another brown woman who was shopping nearby was also holding a shoe and waiting for assistance. I told her, “You’re probably going to be waiting a long time.” I shared that I felt brown customers were being treated differently in the store. She responded, “Oh my God, I thought it was just me.” She explained that she and her husband had been shopping there for a long time and had never experienced treatment like this before.
She was interested in purchasing HOKA and On cloud shoes. After an associate finally brought out the sizes she requested, she decided not to make a purchase because of the poor service. She told the employee that her experience had been very similar to mine.
I left feeling disappointed, ignored, and concerned about how customers of color were being treated in the store. I hope this experience is taken seriously and addressed so that other customers do not have to go through the same thing.
