  I went into American eagle at the mixer hill mall in Duluth to exchange a pair of pants I ordered online, the young gal that helped me was ridiculous, I had tags on jeans she needed Confirmarion number of order I had left my phone in car, so I had to go get, then I looked up an order she is like thsie aren't the jeans so I looked up another order and she's like those aren't it either, I said it has to be I only ordered 3 pairs, finally got the exchange but she treated me like I was trying to exchange a stolen pair of pants.. Won't be going back

  i’ve been to this store many times since moving to the area 5 years ago, that being said i’ve never had a bad experience until now. i went to make a return today on an online purchase and the manager stated she couldn’t give me cash for my return (i initially paid with paypal), even though i have gotten cash many times in the past when i’ve done returns at this store after paying with paypal. they stated the money had to go back on a card and i explained that i didn’t have a physical card with me at this moment. this wasn’t that big of a deal to me, and i ended up just getting store credit, whatever. the issue starts when i was perusing the store afterwards. the manager and the cashier started talking about me like i wasn’t even there, making comments about how “they’ve never done cash returns in all the years they’ve worked there” and how i “initially refused store credit and demanded cash” and then, “like, why doesn’t she have a card? what kind of person doesn’t have a card?”. i ended up leaving without buying anything, and felt really embarrassed afterwards. i ido not think i will return to this store anymore.
