A very clean, well-kept store always has a hidden treasure. Very easy to get lost in. Staff was very helpful as well! Recommend stopping in perfect place to get a unique gift!

The money offered for new, up-to-date, and very popular books is insulting. I refused their lowball offer and decided just to donate them to the library or a charity instead. I will never do business with them again.

I've been to HPB three times to sell in the last 10 days. Each time they were very professional and clear about what I should do (stay in the store ) and how l would be notified that my offer was ready. While the wait can be long, there is lots in store to keep book lovers busy😊. While I would always like more money, I think the offers (all or nothing) are fair considering the effort it would take me to sell our things another way. For your own and other seller's time, if you live close enough, consider keeping what you bring in to a few small totes. To check in, all your items need to be in store, and lots of things to sell just takes a long time!

NEGATIVE 10 STARS (-10 🌟) I don't think you would be interested in seeing a dozen of most strange people working in one spot. But if you ever did, walk into this place. Trying to sell your books? For three big boxes of books, they'll offer you $3.75. For 75 records, they'll offer you $9. And they sell these items themselves from $10 to $40 per piece. Avoid this place. It's a scam just like the thrift stores. Ooh, I almost forgot the most fun part, and how could I. You have to hand them your ID and share you phone number with them. They will keep you hostage for over an hour in the stor and you cannot step out.
