  As someone who spent close to three decades working in hospitality and customer service environments, I tend to evaluate service very differently than the average shopper. I pay attention to authenticity, professionalism, attentiveness, pressure tactics, consistency, and whether employees genuinely understand how to create a positive experience without making people feel uncomfortable or pushed into spending money. From that perspective, my wife and I had an outstanding experience at the Columbia Sportswear store at the Mall of America. We were visiting the Mall of America while traveling, and after walking through countless stores and comparing multiple options, we came across a jacket at Columbia that immediately stood out to us. Because it was still early in our visit, we decided not to purchase it right away and continued exploring the mall before making our final decisions. After several hours, we both agreed that the Columbia jacket was still the best choice for what I needed, so we returned to the store. What impressed us was that Myles and Zane actually recognized us when we came back. Both of them continued helping us with the exact same professionalism, warmth, and respect they showed during our first visit. They were attentive and knowledgeable without ever becoming overbearing or overly aggressive with sales tactics. That balance is extremely difficult to achieve in retail, and in my opinion, it reflects very strong management and training standards. The pricing at this location was also excellent, especially for travelers and shoppers who already appreciate Columbia products. We were pleasantly surprised by the tax-free advantage as well, which absolutely added value to the overall experience. At the time of writing this review, my wife and I are no longer even in the country, yet we still remembered the experience enough to call the store directly and make sure these employees received recognition for the way they treated us. That alone probably says everything that needs to be said. Excellent experience overall, and sincere thanks again to Myles and Zane for the professionalism, hospitality, and respect they showed us during our visit. If we ever return to the Mall of America in the future, we would absolutely look forward to visiting this store again.

  This store is obnoxious. Every second someone asks the same thing “ do u need any help ?” I say no thank you. . Then next person greets me again . So obnoxious. I left I was gonna get something but omg! Give people space much ? Seriously annoying.. I like to browse and shop with out being constantly bothered .if I need help I’ll ask. You all would have had me purchase but it was so annoying even got followed . Weird they must be stereotyping assuming stuff . It was bit too much my finance and kids we left .

  Amazing customer service. Gals helped find the right shoes for me. They even took the time to help give me directions to other stores in Mall of America
