  In response to owners reply to my review. I did arrive early for my appointment so please don’t lie that I was late. When I arrived I was the only customer in the entire store. One size dress in my size and four other dress above size 16 isn’t a large number of plus size dresses. Also other stores offer to order dresses in different colors if you like a style but not color.

  Extremely disappointed I called and made an appointment for a plus size mother of the bride dress. When I arrived I wasn’t greeted friendly and was lead to the right area of the store and was told to browse. There was limited plus size dresses and when I found one to try the lady disappeared with the dress and never come back for several minutes. I had to wonder around the store while she was helping someone else. She never found the dress back again. She picked a couple dress later for me and left again to use the computer and talk to another coworker about lunch. I had to find someone else to unzip me. I walked back to her still on the computer and she glanced up and said did you find something else to try on. If I have to look myself don’t make me make an appointment. I will never recommend this to anyone. Good job making me feel unwelcome in your store.

  We celebrated our son's wedding this past weekend. All tuxes were ordered through Jackie J's which were picked up the Tuesday prior to the wedding. Upon distributing the tuxes to the groomsmen, ushers, fathers & groom, a vast majority of the tuxes did NOT fit as per measurements taken by the employee of Jackie J's (she was not professional & in an extreme rush for some reason). The following day, quite a few of the guys had to return to the bridal shop in Alexandria (an hour away) in hopes of getting their issues resolved. The groom sadly was one of them as well as his best man. On Thursday, I drove back to Jackie J's to pick up the "corrected" tuxes and brought them to the groom's house. He immediately tried his tux coat on & it was AGAIN so large on him. He called Jackie J's immediately and they told him to sew the jacket buttons over a bit to snug it up. Are you kidding me, who says that to anyone that getting married? Sooo, they ordered yet another replacement, actually 2 which would need to be picked up AGAIN on Friday. A bridal shop should know that if a wedding is on Saturday, chances are the day before the wedding is extremely busy with decorating, lining last minute details up, rehearsal, etc. Yet our son/groom, spent 4 hours of his Friday driving back to the bridal shop & dealing with Jackie J's lack of competence to measure & order correctly numerous times. Now onto the best man...he had to take an entire day off of work to get his tux issues resolved due to their inconvenient store hours that do not accommodate working people to stop by after their shift. Upon returning the tuxes the Monday after the wedding, we voiced our concerns to the 3 store employees and all we got in return was the deer in the headlight look and a very insincere "sorry." No attempt to make all the inconveniences right or to reimburse at least the best man for his lost wages/or refund him for his rental. Very poor customer service! I would never recommend this shop for tuxes.

  Our recent experience with Jackie Js on tuxes was very disappointing. The Groom picked up 11 tuxes on Tuesday and half of them needed something corrected. He tried his on while at the store with his jacket being too big. He was not re-measured just a smaller sized ordered. On Thursday a family member drove to pickup the jacket. He tried it on that evening still too big. They ordered a third jacket. It was asked if it could be shipped or dropped off at their house. Jackie Js couldn't guarantee that. So, on Friday he took 4 hours out of the day to pickup the jacket again. He missed out on the venue set-up. The bestman missed a full day of work on Wednesday to get the correct size shirt and jacket. The father of the brides first pair of pants where like capri pants. We had another groomsmen with jacket size issues too. The two with wrong shoe sizes were the least of our worries. When the tuxes were returned on Monday we shared our experience with staff only to be told thanks for the feedback. Save yourself a lot of time, mileage and stress go elsewhere for tuxes!

  i don’t write reviews ever, but i’ve got to share my experience with this business. i came in less than a week before my prom, i didn’t have the highest expectations as it was so very last minute, but i have never been happier with a tux. a rented one at that. jess was amazing to work with, and i wouldn’t hesitate to go back to them for anything formal. everyone there is so sweet and they couldn’t have done a better job.
