- RWRyan WellsJul 13, 20263.0Overall issues - Clothing is still quite overpriced despite the fact nearly everything is made in low cost countries and discount don't stack. This store - not sure if the gal is the manager, but the gal working there gives a lot of attitude when you return for a better size. She got annoyed that I had washed an outfit to get it's true size, AFTER the prior visit of telling me to do so. I checked the receipts and nothing states this on a receipt. She made me glad I'm losing weight so I don't need to shop there again. The rest of the staff at the store was great.

We found a lot of great bargains, and the frequent sales—especially the 40% off promotions—make a huge difference. In today’s economy, it’s hard to justify paying full price, so the discounts are definitely appreciated. One thing that stood out was the customer service. If a staff member saw you carrying a few items, they were quick to offer a fitting room and were always available to answer questions or help find what you needed. The store was well-stocked, organized, and easy to shop. The only downside was the shoe selection. I was hoping for a larger variety of shoes, but the inventory seemed somewhat limited. That was a bit disappointing, but it wasn’t enough to take away from an otherwise excellent shopping experience. Overall, I give DXL 5 stars for their outstanding customer service, great sales, and welcoming atmosphere.
