  I bought a 40-year-old cream colored Class-C camper from a guy in Wisconsin and decided to take it up around Lake Michigan on my way back to New York City. Set eyes on the Upper Peninsula. Maybe see Lake Superior. Beautiful, Stunning. The tree leaves were just beginning to turn. Red here. Orange there. Fires popping in a sea of still-green. America has so many varying and beautiful landscapes to enjoy. We're lucky.** And so are the citizens of the U.P.!! For they have Higher Love Cannabis Dispensary in their midst. Welcoming. Knowledgeable. Passionate. These are words I would use to describe the Higher Love Dispensary in Munising. I named my new camper Cindy for a number of complicated reasons. None of which I will mention but Cindy quit starting after I filled her up in Escanaba. The guy in Wisconsin delivered Cindy to me with a full tank and I nearly ran out of gas getting to Escanaba. I didn't think about stale gas and carburetors. Too nervous and excited. Who knows how long Cindy had been sitting? All of which is to say, by the time I reached Higher Love in Munising, I needed refuge. Shelter from the storm. Driving around, far from home in a vehicle that has failed to start and left me sitting at a gas station waiting hours for a tow, produces a low level anxiety that is exhausting. Bryce at Higher Love welcomed me in like I'd decided to crash at a friends house while I was in town. Sincere. Friendly. He knew his stuff. When I'm trying to find a new experience, the human factor is a must. AI can't touch it. I want to hear about your actual experience. Learn from it. It was good to talk it out with someone. Like when I used to rent VHS tapes from a local video store and the guy behind the counter had a passion for films and could help me find something I'd enjoy. If you're ever looking for ganja in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, look no further than Higher Love. **(Actually it was taken by force from a people who were better off without us. Sadly that was the way of the world back then. It's on us to move forward.)
