- BBBeth BryantApr 21, 20261.0I had a concerning experience at the Madison Heights location involving an employee named Stephanie. On Sunday, April 19, my minor son briefly went into the store while I was next door. He had picked out a hoodie and set it aside so he could come get me to purchase it. As he was leaving to come get me, he was stopped by an employee named “Stephanie” and questioned about the item. He was asked to show where the hoodie was and felt uncomfortable during the interaction, as he believed he was being prevented from leaving the store. He ultimately showed where he had placed the item, and nothing was taken from the store. I understand that stores need to monitor merchandise, but the situation could have been handled in a more appropriate and less confrontational way—especially when dealing with a minor. I did go into the store to address the situation and did not feel that my concerns were acknowledged. I hope management reviews how situations like this are handled, particularly when it involves younger customers.
