  Okay, let’s start off with the good. I really love the dress options at Windsor, and I absolutely love the dress I ended up getting. The store itself is also very nice and has a lot of cute options. BUTTTT, here are the cons… We came on a very busy day, so there was a long line just to get inside. While we were waiting, I noticed more than one woman leave the store, and one of the employees kept giving them nasty looks behind their backs as they walked away. I thought that was extremely rude and unprofessional. After waiting, we finally got inside and picked out some dresses for me to try on. While I was in the fitting room, my mom needed to use the bathroom. There were multiple men who had left the store and then came back in because their daughters were still shopping, so we assumed my mom would be able to step out to use the bathroom and return. However, one of the employees told her that she could NOT leave to use the bathroom because they wouldn’t let her back inside, even if I came to the front and explained that she was my mom and that I was still trying on dresses. I understand having store policies, especially on a busy day, but I personally think there should be some common sense and flexibility in situations like this. My mom wasn’t trying to leave the store—she simply needed to use the bathroom, and there are NO public bathrooms inside the store. Overall, I love Windsor’s dresses and the store itself, but the customer service and the way this situation was handled really left a bad impression on me. I hope management considers how employees treat customers and whether there could be a better solution for situations like this.

  Absolutely ridiculous. I was shopping and trying on clothes when an employee came over and told me I could only have 6 items in the dressing room at a time. I was actively shopping and comparing sizes/styles, which is pretty normal in a clothing store. Instead of making the experience enjoyable, I felt like I was being monitored and inconvenienced. If customers are spending money in your store, maybe don’t make them feel like they’re doing something wrong for wanting to try on more than a handful of items. Needless to say, this completely ruined the shopping experience.

  The dresses are cute, store clean. The service on the other hand..?? I honestly don’t know why these girls work in a dress store if they are not going to like their job. You would think that they would be prepared for teenage girls to come in, but they treated us very rudely; ignored me when I asked a question and started a new task. I was very kind and have always had good experiences. I never leave reviews, but “this is ridiculous.” Thank you to the girl that rang up our dresses, she was sweet and knew how to work customer service. As somebody who works in customer service myself, they did not treat us appropriately. We are paying customers, just because we are young, we aren’t trying to do anything but shop for our homecoming dresses. Safe to say I will be ordering offline next time.

  Some of these girls don’t understand customer service! I asked for assistance getting a dress down for my daughter and she rolled her eyes and said in just a minute. Stupid girl you need to smile and say how may I help you and then do as the customer asks. I can say they just lost out on at least 7 girls getting dresses here not only for homecoming but for my daughter’s sweet 16.
