  Went in there with my sisters and no one greeted us or informed us of sales that were happening at the time. I had to go up and ask for a bin which took five minutes for the to get and I had to ask for fitting rooms. The employees were rude and acted as if customers being in the store was the bane of their existence. Many of the items my sisters had tried on were already damaged because of their security tags so it's no longer worth the listed price either. There are so many thrift stores in GR I would go to one those rather than come back to Plato's Closet

  Waste of time to sell clothes they will low ball you & not even buy brand new name brand clothes with tags and in packaging. A joke.

  Went in there with my sister in law. We're from up north, but was in grand rapids for my sons college orientation. We had a break and time to kill, so we went in there. I looked around, and must have been asked four times by some guy there if I was finding everything ok, and we were only there for 20 minutes. He then proceeded to follow me to every aisle I went down. I am black and my sister in law is white. They didnt bother her nor follow her at all. I will never go back, and if your black, I would suggest skipping this place all together.
