- LBLynn Brockie1 day ago1.0I brought my gold watch to have the battery replaced about a year ago. It cost $75. I was told it should last for at least a couple of years, and that if it stopped working, I could come back and they would replace it for free. It has just stopped working. My husband took it in today, but they refused to replace it. I could have gone to other places to have it done for cheaper, and it might have lasted longer. I will not do business with this place again.

When I had the battery replaced last , was at a different Jeweler and was only $5. Medawar wanted to charge me $45. I would understand the price better for more expensive watches, but again this was a very inexpensive watch so I was not willing to pay that price and decided to go back to the other Jeweler.
