  I brought in brand name clothing, such as Lululemon, Halara, Joy Lab, Prana, Nike and Jeans. I was told they couldn't take anything. Because they were stained, out of season or because they aren't taking skinny jeans. I was shocked because there may have been minor flaws at best that I didn't catch before bringing in... I can understand that those clothes would receive a pass. But not the others. I've been in the store and have looked at the clothing and have been shocked by the inventory. Clothing that have stitching coming apart, color fading, out of date styles. Don't they realize that young teens and young adults who shop there? I shop for active wear and browse for other clothing but don't find anything I'm interested in because it doesn't Taylor to me. It's funny how I can sell on Vinted, Depop and Whatnot with 5 star rating but the clothing is not good enough for Plato's closet!?🤔🤔🤔 Styles and Seasons change maybe you need to accept what you think is in today is out tomorrow.

  Racist in East Lansing-no surprise there. I walk in, crickets-they are literally looking past me, over me, around me. The next person walks in-“Welcome In!”. What a a joke. The employees there seem to have an underlying aura of cowards who are afraid to speak to a customer mixed with someone who is talking to the poor who is selling items for money. No nice employees. Unless you’re not toned in the skin at all. Waiting for them to price my JORDANS that I want to sell back. As I wait, I shop around and see an American Eagle tan fluffy shirt-super cute-and unfortunately it has a big ass hole on the shoulder. Around the collarbone area. And only one hole and not as a planned fashion statement. This shirt somehow made it to the sales floor while they turn down shoes that someone will buy for brand name alone. Let alone, they have busted ass shoes for sale on the daily. Math doesn’t math at Plato’s and that’s crazy work because they claim they’ll cash you out. Count your money twice-if they decide to give you any. Literally go to a reg thrift store to shop and online to sell. They need to go out of business fast.

  Selling clothes at Plato’s is a complete SCAM!!!!!!! I see dirty clothing items here all the time that they oversell! I bought in two Nike shorts with tags still on them and two Nike shirts, adidas pants with tag and a nice pair of slacks and they offered $20! TWENTY DOLLARS!!!! I took my things and left.
