  Went there today as I needed some pants and shirts. Carhartt is known as a workwear brand for like - people who do actual physical work for a living so I figured they would have at least some sizes for larger people. Nope!! The largest male pant size is a 40 and I was looking for a 42 or 44. The one worker who did not have a waxed moustache or some other hipster identifier told me that they get requests for larger sizes every day but that corporate ignores them. I noticed a few other reviews mentioning the same thing. Most of the clothing in the store was geared toward slumming fashionistas. I hate companies that forget where they came from in their need to generate social media likes/clicks and then try too hard. Whoever is sitting in a boardroom making these decisions is clueless as to what made the brand. Very sad. When a worker refers you to Amazon then you know there is a problem..

  Always a good experience when I come in. The staff is always very helpful and informative. You can usually find the store manager Darryl floating around making sure everyone is good or seeing if help is needed. The workshop upstairs is a added dope perk, the tool rental is helpful! Chill vibes, and it's more than workwear! I wish they carried the work in progress collection in store.

  Went in just to peruse and check out if they have any new hot summer items since I’m sure this heat’s getting to me like so many others. I was a bit lost walking around not too sure of where to start and this super helpful mustache man directed me to some shirts suited for this heat wave. I also really appreciated that when I told him of my upcoming summer trips he was able to recommend reliable baggage. Overall I had a good time and would definitely come again as long as the other associates are just as polite and helpful as Jeremiah was :)

  I had an outstanding experience at the Carhartt store in Downtown Detroit. From the moment I walked in, the customer service was top-notch. Darryl, the manager, made sure everything ran smoothly and took the time to make me feel like a valued customer. You can tell he genuinely cares about both his team and the people who shop there. Kirk, one of the sales associates, was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. He took the time to answer my questions, helped me find exactly what I was looking for, and never made me feel rushed. It’s rare to find customer service this genuine these days. If you’re looking for quality Carhartt gear and an even better shopping experience, I highly recommend stopping by the Downtown Detroit store. Thanks again to Darryl and Kirk for making my visit such a positive one. I’ll definitely be back!

  I shop at this location frequently for the past few years and I’m always greeted immediately, treated personally, and guided through the experience to find what I want, which is usually the K87 Pocket tee. And even in the rare times my size is not available the process of ordering is seamless 👌🏿
