Do not sell your gold here. I have a little bit of gold, And I've always sold my gold to this place since I was young and I always felt like they were lowballing me. So I took a couple of the small scraps I had, testing out the area to see who gives the most. This place only gives you around 40% to 45%. Highly unheard of for an independent jeweler that typically give you 80% to 85% I sold a gram of 10 karat gold at a raw gold value of $58. They gave me $26. Gold is at a historic high. That's a little too greedy for a tight-knit community in my opinion. It's a strange world when you can trust the pawn shop over a generational family jeweler in the community you grew up in to not lowball you. Go to the pawn shop in davison. Talk to Chad (the world's most honest pawner) Or there's a coin shop right next to it the jeweler (They were closed. I didn't get to see how they run it. But they may have an agreement between the stores seeing how they've both been next to each other for so long) If not, take your stuff to Flint. You should be able to get at least 70% of the raw gold value. In Flint, Michigan there's cash for gold signs everywhere so it's even reasonable for you to expect 80% to 85% raw gold value. 40% is unacceptable and greedy. (There was absolute no testing. It was literally a one and done. There's no reason for any additional fees for testing or shipping and handling, because they sell/handle/and return scrap as a byproduct of their own business. I see that you like to respond to the comments here and if you do, you have no good response to this. People prefer to sell gold to independent/ family-owned Jewelers because they trust them not to lowball them and you've completely spit in the face and exploited that for a few extra dollars of profit at no expense of your own. This is a comment that you completely own for being greedy and it only cost you $14)
