  I was very impressed by how clean and well organized the store was. The employees were extremely helpful and friendly. I would recommend this store to anyone, I found what shoe I wanted in my size!!

  I usually love this store and DSW and have generally good experiences. Not this time. I ordered a size 6.5 online and DSW sent me a size 7, though the box says size 6.5! So I went to the store to get the correct size. My box was in a cloth bag. I walk up to the register. I am not greeted. A lady brusquely asks for my phone number which I give her and then she says, “I have applied the points to your account.” I was like, wait, I’m here for a return. She says, oh well I gave you rewards points because I thought you had a donation. I say, I am not sure why you thought that when you didn’t ask me anything except for my phone number. She says it is because of my bag. Okay. Anyway, they did not have the correct size in store so I asked to order it. But it is more expensive now. I tell her I should get the same price since this was a DSW error. She talks about using current coupons on my account and I say, no, I would like to use those for later purchases. She really struggled making it happen and finally called a manager. I start to explain to him my situation and he totally cuts me off, says something to the employee, and walks away. The employee struggles further and the manager has to come back to handle it. At no point was anybody polite or kind. At no point did anybody apologize for this inconvenience - at least an hour drive time and waiting in line to do this. What a pain. Hope this was a one-time experience.
