- AAASep 23, 20261.0I had an uncomfortable experience with a cashier named Chantelle. She repeatedly tried to convince me to open a JCPenney credit card even after I showed that I wasn’t interested. She also talked excessively throughout the checkout process, which made the interaction feel uncomfortable rather than friendly. Customers should not feel pressured while checking out, and I hope management addresses this with her.
- AGA GanSep 18, 20261.0I went to shop at JC Penny at Briarwood Mall and once I got home, I realized that I was scammed. When I was younger JC Penny was a place of integrity. A place that I remember shopping with my grandmother. Now it is a place where the cashiers are scamming their customers. I walked up to the counter with my things, and the lady asked me if I wanted to use my JC Penny Credit card for 30% off. I replied that I didn't have a credit card. She then told me that I had one in the system. I remembered that I had one years ago but I thought that the company canceled it because I had not used it in a long time. She said that the computer would ask me a few questions because I haven't used the card in a while. The store was closing and I was not thinking and I answered the questions. She told me to approve the discount on the screen and I did. I believe now that was when she mislead me to give approval to have my credit ran. I'm building my credit to buy my first home and was advised by my relator not to have my credit ran. This was a horrible experience, and I will NEVER shop at JC Penny again. I can't believe this is how they treat their customers. I can't wait until tomorrow to cancel this card. I went against my first thought and did not read before pushing approve on the screen. I'm sure that I'm not the only one that she did this to. She was good in a bad way. If you are going to shop at this store, please be careful. Don't be stupid like me.

- CNChristina NAug 8, 20262.0I was in the Mattress area yesterday. Wasn't greeted until about 15 minutes later. The lady called several times to get someone over to help me because she was busy with a design client. After a half hour no one came so I just left. She had no support at all. Thats a shame, it was only Friday. If It were a Sunday, I could have seen how it would be low staff, but not a Friday afternoon. Management should be ashamed of themselves. It's no faults of the lady, she made an effort. You lucked out on a nice sale tho. Too bad đź‘Ž
