  Customer Complaint Regarding Incident on 04/09/26 Dear Customer Service, I am writing to report an unpleasant experience I had at your South Portland, Maine location on April 9, 2026, at approximately 5:00 PM. During my visit, I selected a box containing a pair of shoes and proceeded to the register to make a purchase. The associate assisting me initially checked the box and stated the price, then invited me to proceed with payment. However, as I was about to complete the transaction, she informed me that the shoes were in the wrong box and that the price would be different. I explained that, as a customer, I relied on the pricing presented with the product and that it was not my responsibility to verify whether the shoes were placed in the correct box. Despite this, she insisted on charging a higher price and did not offer a satisfactory resolution. I then requested to speak with a manager, only to be told that she herself was the manager. Unfortunately, instead of attempting to resolve the situation professionally, she asked me to leave the store. I found this response both surprising and disappointing, particularly given that I am a regular customer at this location. I believe this situation could have been handled with greater professionalism, courtesy, and respect. I would appreciate it if you could review this incident and provide clarification on your store’s policy regarding pricing discrepancies, as well as ensure that staff are trained to handle such situations appropriately.   Fantastic!!! Shoe shopping for the prom!! Variety was great! Prices outstanding! Service.. Customer service is just nowhere anymore..but we found polite and helpful customer service there! The women on the floor Saturday night were fantastic with my granddaughter and myself 💓Store was clean and well organized..Thankyou All!
