  The fishing department is good. They helped me get started with a surf rod and gave me some tips on striper fishing. Spooled up the new rod for me which saved me time. The cashiers are another story. Bought $270 worth of equipment and when I got to the finalization of the purchase the computer “crashed” apparently. Took me over to another register and tried to charge me again. Still working on disputing the transaction. A mix of poor computer programming and older folks that don’t handle technology very well. Very frustrated at the whole process. They told me it shouldn’t show on my bank account but I could tell they had no idea what they were doing or talking about. Would be one star if it weren’t for the knowledgeable and friendly folks in the fishing department.

  We love Cabela’s, but we don’t like pressure they put on us to get a credit card. We had an employee follow us around. I thought about getting one, but I was so harassed that I changed my mind and didn’t.

  A massive store with plenty of anything outdoor related you may need. Guns, knives, clothes, grills, fishing, it's got so much of it all. The staff is helpful and polite and the whole place is clean. Some things can be a bit pricey but if you're expecting otherwise you're kind of in the wrong store.
