Flagship store is closed until "Late 2026" (read: mid-2027). A couple peripheral stores are open, but don't warrant a special visit. There's no reason why this info can't be posted as a visible disclaimer on web searches. Bummer!
The flagship is under construction but still a great place to visit. I have probably been here a hundred times of the past 40 years and I still find great things. This trip the service by Carrie and Katie at the outlet was amazing and made me feel very welcome, appreciated and was a 20 out of 10.

Overpriced and dirty. Very disappointed with the result of the new flagship store. Restrooms were disgustingly dirty and it was a empty store. Very sad to see ll beans this way.

I couldn't even afford a little pair of slippers just brittle what is a great place if you want to walk around and buy nothing 50 million expansion going on as we speak over 3 million visitors a year got to bring some big bucks to get anything just saying
I was stupid for being surprised about how many of these products are now Outsourced to Asia. But most of it…other than, seemingly, their boots and bags… is appearing to be outsourced. But I’m not going to be some sour sally on the rating. If you’re a fan of L. L. Bean, then this is a pretty cool store with a wide selection of their catelog. As of 6/19 they are doing ongoing construction on the campus, but whoever set up this alternative walk path and tents did a nice job! Easy to navigate.
But. The store staff being so friendly and welcoming is what raised this rating from a 3 star. This manager clearly hires and trains well. Everyone had a stellar attitude, even though I bet they deal with some DOOZIES on the floor with that many people going through everyday. So, shoutout to them.. because they a have quite a task in front of them and they were seemingly right on point. 💪🏻
No hard feelings my LiLBean? It would just be so nice to be have an American created, made and sold FULL product catalog, from a large retailer, that was a large amount of offerings just fully USA made.
My Dad’s LL Bean shirts had made in the USA on them, that was awesome and Id buy an ll bean flannel that was completely made in the USA.
Might be more of us… just sayin 🤷🏼♂️
