  Not pet friendly. my wife and I stopped in on our trip to Acadia from PA. we had to take turns going in because they are NOT dog friendly. we quickly browsed the first floor but was so disappointed not being able to bring in our Yorkie,that we carry anyways, we weren't motivated in shopping. they have a lot of stuff we typically would shop for;jackets, sweaters, day packs, dog gear. they have a cafe inside and cool fish tanks. One lady saw me looking through the window holding my dog and thought she would say I could come on as long as I held him.. Nope. she turned and walked away. The Pet policy is such a shame.

  If you're in the area, you need to stop, especially if you've never been here before. We stop every time we drive through the area on our way to Acadia National Park. They have recently completed there renovations/remodeling. My 2 year old grandson really enjoyed the new fish tanks and the new play area.

  It’s a huge store I didn’t get to explore the whole place🙃! Still pricey for me even in their sale items - though I still bout a gray sweatshirt - just loved the thickness and quality of the material! It was perfect for the hiking that we did that day! Love that the store is dog friendly - enjoyed meeting some of them and that made me missed our own precious pup!

  L.L. Bean always holds key events closer to the holidays. Concert and food and fun for the entire family..Always shop for my fishing gear and winter jackets,ice fishing traps from the one and only JACK TRAPS with special resin to help protect them from the elements. My go to for traps! Can order these online! Buy them fast often sell out!!!

  Each year, I purchase one of LLB's Fleece Lined Flannel shirts for my brother's birthday and for Christmas. He does a lot of activities outdoors, and can get chilled very quickly. He keeps one in his car and one next to the door, and says he never leaves home without them. I've been buying them for six years, and every single one is still in great shape, no matter the rough use. They're warm enough for winter and light enough to toss on during the summer when he knows he'll be out late. He calls them "Sister Hugs" because they envelop him in warmth and care and protect him from the elements. I can't think of a better recommendation. Get one for someone you love!
