  Went to cash out Levi’s jeans that were on sale for $49.95 per the bright red sales signs. They rang up $74.95. I said they were marked down 40% and she said that sale ended yesterday and continued to ring me out before I could tell her I no longer wanted them at that price. Also, didn’t give me a bag after I asked for one. Will be returning the jeans.

  Customers beware. Health in danger at this store. This store is a danger. Shame on Catalystbrands the owners of JCP for not taking care of the air conditioning. From June to Sept the store is 90 degrees with high high humidity. The employees are struggling to get through the day. The store manager does not care is what I've been told. This company is gross.

  The elder lady Mary is so rude, every time I go in there she makes multiple negotiate comments about having to do her job. No one is even doing anything and she gripes the whole time she wings people up. I think it’s time for her to be somewhere else.

  This might possibly be the least friendly store I have ever been in. Since I have been visiting Bangor for the past week and always enjoy a climate-controled walk, I have been through Penney's numerous times. Employees couldn't be bothered to smile or to speak;.most often, they simply turned away to avoid any interaction at all. On one of my last passes through the store, I overheard this conversation between an employee and a customer: "He's a mall walker. Not sure why they can't walk outside". Not that it really matters, I guess, because the store and the mall will soon be closed, but I certainly would never shop at this particular Penney's. What a shame!

  I came in the other day when it was over 90 degrees outside and the store did not have air conditioning. It’s unacceptable that this store has been operating without air conditioning, especially with how hot it’s been recently. The conditions inside are extremely hot and uncomfortable for both employees and customers. No one should be expected to work or shop in an environment like this. This is not only unprofessional but also unhealthy and raises serious concerns about the well being of everyone inside. I especially feel for the employees who are expected to work full shifts in these conditions day after day. Every single employee were basically dripping sweat and looked like they were about to pass out. It’s disappointing that this issue has been allowed to continue without being addressed. Every summer that I have come in JC Penney the air conditioning is always not working. A company should prioritize providing a safe, healthy, and comfortable environment for both its employees and its customers.
