- THTyler Haskins1 day ago1.0Went to go buy a pair of shorts last week. Signed up for the JCPenney app while in the store and got a $10 off coupon for my first purchase. Brought the shorts home and ended up throwing the tags away. After wearing the shorts for a bit, realized they were too big so went to exchange them for a smaller size a few days later. I still had the receipt, just not the tags on the shorts. I guess because of the coupon it somehow canceled out the transaction of the original purchase and the coupon was "one time use only" and no one in store would refund me. And couldn't get any help online either. So I ended up having to pay full price for a smaller pair of shorts when it should have been an even exchange refund. Not going to get anything from JCPenney again.

- SASierra AndersonJun 26, 20261.0If I could give a zero star rating, I would. I purchased a 300 dollar necklace from this establishment last year only to have one of the diamonds fall out. I was reassured many times when buying this necklace that it would be covered if anything happened to it. So I purchased the extra protection plan. The lady at the register today informed me that unless I had the origional receipt there was nothing she could do as "the system" doesn't go back one year. I am beyond frustrated as this was a meaningful piece and I got zero help.

Both cashiers were rude; one went to get a copy of the return policy & slammed it down on the counter with her hand as she pushed it over towards me. Did you know, returns are within 60 days of order date, not date received (1 week later)? Better make sure you’re able to return items promptly (make sure life “doesn’t happen) or you’ll be out both the money for the items & be treated disrespectfully…
