  ⭐☆☆☆☆ (If zero stars were an option, that’s exactly what I would give.) I had an extremely disappointing experience with Joseline on November 3 while trying to return boots I purchased through Uber Eats on Sunday, November 1. As a new mom, today was finally the day I had the opportunity to make the return. I have never ordered from DSW through Uber Eats before, so this was my first time navigating this type of return. Unfortunately, instead of receiving help and patience, I was met with an extremely rude and unwelcoming attitude. When I explained my situation and mentioned contacting Uber Eats, Joseline immediately told me I needed an order number. I stepped aside to let her assist another customer, but she never bothered to check whether I needed further help. Instead, I had to get her attention again. When she finally assisted me, she suggested I accept store credit if I couldn’t complete the return. After explaining that I had paid a significant amount for the boots, she grabbed my phone without my permission, made an exaggerated facial expression, told me, “Well, you gotta do that,” and walked away. I had to retrieve my boots because I never agreed to that solution. What made this even worse was that I had other plans that day and couldn’t spend all my time dealing with an employee who showed little interest in helping me. I was with my daughter, who was getting hungry, and had other responsibilities as a mother. My time matters too. I also want to express that I felt I was being treated differently because of my skin color. Her expressions, tone, and dismissive behavior made me feel unwelcome and disrespected. I cannot speak to her intentions, but I cannot ignore how the interaction made me feel. I remained respectful throughout the experience, but eventually had to tell her she was being rude and that I would be contacting HR. What made matters worse was that she showed absolutely no concern when I mentioned reporting her behavior. She appeared completely indifferent, as though my complaint meant nothing to her. This was unacceptable customer service. I felt dismissed, disrespected, and unsupported when I was simply asking for assistance. I will not be returning to this store, and I sincerely hope management takes this complaint seriously and addresses Joseline’s behavior. No customer should leave feeling this way simply for asking for help. I advise you to not even come or shop here they wouldn’t help you with online orders or ANYTHING!!!!!! Save your trip or money for another store. Would come back NO.

  Tried to shop here the morning of Saturday 9/12. Despite their advertised opening time of 10:00, the gate was still closed after 10:30, and the employee inside was very unhelpful.

  Unlike other DSW'S I've gone to this one had no signs telling you what shoes were and sizes for the youth. So you have to pick up the shoes one by one, the signs over the section saves a lot of time, they give the ages of the kids.
