I couldn't be happier with my experience at 1916 Company. I registered interest for my first Rolex and initially worked with Shirley Spearman, who was always professional, friendly, and very helpful throughout the process. For the past seven months or so, I've been working closely with Charles Chaikaew, and he came through with the exact Rolex I'd been waiting for. Charles was fantastic to work with. He was communicative, transparent, and genuinely invested in helping me. He never made me feel like just another name on a list. 1916 Company is nothing like the horror stories you often read about Rolex authorized dealers online. They truly work hard for their customers and build real relationships instead of playing games. I can't say enough good things about Charles and the entire team. If you're looking for an authorized Rolex dealer that values its customers, I highly recommend Charles, Shirley, and the 1916 Company.

I recently visited 1916 Company after reaching a few personal and professional milestones that inspired me to purchase my first Rolex. I also hope this will be the beginning of a collection that I can one day pass down to my children, making this first purchase especially meaningful to me. I stopped in after work wearing my construction clothes and wasn’t sure what to expect from a luxury watch retailer. During my first visit I worked with Charles Chaikaew. He took the time to give me a tour of the showroom, answer my questions, and walk me through the different Rolex models without ever making me feel rushed or out of place. That experience convinced me to register my interest for a Rolex Submariner, the watch I’ve idolized since childhood. I’ve been back several times since then, and every visit has been just as positive. Everyone I’ve met has been friendly, professional, and happy to answer questions. I’ve also enjoyed looking through their pre-owned watch collection and was surprised by the variety of fine jewelry, engagement rings, and wedding bands they offer. Whether you’re buying your first luxury watch or you’ve been collecting for years, I’d highly recommend visiting 1916 Company. I wanted to recognize Charles and the entire team for making what could have been an intimidating experience feel comfortable from the very first visit.

Yes by all means trade a watch to this company and receive 1/3 of its value and then have them reduce that even further after they complete their 2 week long inspection. A watch worn less than 10 times allegedly needs a complete refinish even further reducing the trade amount. I have been collecting watches for more than 20 years and have transacted business with most of the major retailers. That being said, I would never conduct business with this Company again. I met with their Staff on June 20th, 2026, for a Rolex event. In anticipation of same, I arranged to have two of my watches brought in for trade. My watches were complete box and papers, hangtags, receipts, etc. It took the Company nearly two weeks to evaluate my trades and when they did so, they significantly reduced the quoted appraised value of one of the watches. As it was, the appraised values were already significantly below market. They promised delivery of a new piece to their Christana location nearly two weeks from receiving my trades. On the day of delivery they advised that the watch wasnt shipped to their Christiana location (interfering with vacation plans). They could have simply driven the watch from Ardmore to Delaware (36.3 miles). They did suggest that *I* could drive to PA to pick up the watch on the day of the promised delivery but then I would have to pay PA tax as a result of their error. Keep in mind, I have already paid for this new piece (despite their glitchy payment system) and theyve had my watches for nearly two weeks. This was a terrible experience for a number of reasons: 1. I was not and remain uncomfortable with their valuations on trades. I dont begrudge any businesses making some money and in the watch trade this isnt unusual. However, their valuations were below even most other watch stores. 2. I felt it dishonest that they reneged on their already low appraised values for alleged 'refinishing' of the trades (one of the watches had hardly ever been worn) 3. They missed the delivery date out of their own negligence and didnt seem to care enough to drive the watch 30 minutes to meet the delivery timeframe In all, I would caution against using this company. The salesperson, individually, was a nice guy who seems to care about their customers. Unfortunately, the Company itself doesnt seem to care about making these transactions special or even enjoyable. I felt like I was buying a used car frankly - thats the vibe. Even then, the used car folks wouldve likely delivered the product on time and gone the extra step of driving the product 30 miles to make the delivery deadline. Caveat Emptor.

From the moment I walked into The 1916 Company, I knew I was in good hands. I especially want to thank Keane Jackson for making this such an exceptional experience. Keane helped me identify the perfect Rolex for me, and his knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail were evident throughout the entire process. What stood out most, however, was how personable and genuine he was. He took the time to get to know me as a person instead of simply trying to make a sale, and I truly appreciated that. The entire experience felt warm, welcoming, and authentic—more like catching up with family than shopping for a luxury watch. That level of customer service is rare, and it’s a big reason why I’ll gladly return to The 1916 Company for future purchases. Thank you, Keane, for making this such a memorable experience. If you’re looking for someone who is knowledgeable, honest, and genuinely invested in helping you find the right timepiece, I couldn’t recommend him more highly.

My wife and I had an outstanding experience working with Brynne Freedman at The 1916 Company. From our very first visit, Brynne made us feel valued and genuinely appreciated as clients. She took the time to get to know us, understand what we were looking for, and guide us through the process without ever making us feel pressured. Her professionalism, knowledge, and enthusiasm are second to none. Brynne helped my wife acquire her first Rolex, a milestone that was incredibly meaningful to her. She also surprised me by sourcing one of the watches I had been hoping to add to my collection much sooner than I ever expected. Every interaction has been thoughtful, personal, and memorable. What sets Brynne apart is her ability to make the experience about more than just watches and jewelry. She has a remarkable way of making clients feel special and cared for. Whether we are discussing a watch, a piece of jewelry, or simply catching up during a visit, she consistently goes above and beyond. It is often said that luxury is about how a business makes you feel, and Brynne exemplifies that perfectly. She is a tremendous asset to The 1916 Company, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. If you are considering a Rolex or fine jewelry purchase asking for Brynne Freedman would be the best decision you could make.
