This 1 star is purely based on the phone call that I made just now. The person who picked up the phone took 45 seconds to say “hello, this is the movado store located in hanover maryland, my name is Alfred speaking”. Tone was extremely monotone and he spoker each word slower and slower dragging out each word 2~3 seconds long. It almost felt like I was speaking to one of those automated Ai response but had a glitch in their system causing them to speak each word like that. But he was an actual person and to me it sounded like he did it on purpose (thinking its a joke). But it wasn’t funny at all. I just called to ask how much battery replacements costed for my movado watches and he immediately put me on hold for 4-5 minutes. I was just about to hang up but then he got back and told me it costed $45 for non chronographic. And if it is chronographic it’ll be $55. I have 7 but need 4 replaced. But 2 of the 4 watches are the cheap ones. 1 was bought 15 years ago for $500 at the time and 1 was the Bold watches that only costed $230-250 from 3-4 years ago. But I am pretty sure the phone call with him had a big effect on not wanting to get any services there. This just shows how important customer service is.

I've always wanted a Movado and today Jason made it possible. What started as window shopping ended in a pleasant buying experience. Jason took his time to explain each watch that I was interested in. Jerry the assistant manager made sure my watches fit perfectly. Because of the excellent customer service I received I left with two watches. I'll be back.

Guy with gold glasses you deal with when you come in the door customer service is on point and he’s cool to deal with, the lady with locs was very short and not helpful at all, all I wanted to inquire about was my watch warranty. Rude.

I don’t typically write reviews, unless something stands out about my experience. I went to Movado looking for a retirement gift for my father. I don’t know much about watches so I was feeling a bit overwhelmed. Walking in, I received a friendly greeting and support from Jerry. He really took the time to walk me through my options, calming me down and making me feel secure in my choice. My dad loved his gift and I would go back to Movado for a future purchase. I’ve got my eye on a couple of other pieces.
