  The 99 reviews reflected here relate to the Plaza Artists (former) owner and staff. Everything said was true of them. They were super helpful and knowledgable artists. From my first experience with the new staff, they are neither helpful nor knowledgable. Looking for a new place near Bethesda. Suggestions?

  I had a very disappointing experience at this store. I came in to buy three sheets of paper that were clearly marked around $3 each. At checkout, I was told the total was $50. When I questioned it, I was told it would be cheaper if I signed up for a membership. After signing up, the total became $40. When I pointed out that this still didn’t make sense, the cashier suddenly said she had entered the wrong code. A pricing “mistake” of $40 is not a small error. It felt extremely unprofessional and concerning. I understand that people make mistakes, but this situation did not feel transparent. I hope the owner pays attention to how pricing and checkout are handled, because this experience seriously damaged my trust in the store.
