  1 star — Refused a legitimate return over a scratch that doesn't exist. I attempted to return a pair of sunglasses just 13 days after purchase — well within the 30-day return window — and was denied. The store attendant claimed there was a scratch on the lens and repeatedly pointed to a spot that I, and anyone else present, could not see. No scratch was visible under normal light, in direct light, or from any angle. Rather than honoring their own return policy, the attendant used this phantom scratch as grounds to refuse the return entirely. When I pushed back, they continued insisting the scratch was there despite being unable to point to anything visible. This is a $200+ purchase being denied a return based on a defect that does not exist. I've since filed a dispute with my credit card company and a complaint with the BBB. If you're shopping at this location, pay with a credit card so you have recourse — because they’re abusing a loophole in their return policy.

  Absolutely terrible experience at this location (will also post same review for the other store because they have 2 stores in Annapolis mall and apparently both of them work together and I had to visit both of them today). I had ordered a pair of Ray-Bans online and selected this store for in-person pickup. When I received the glasses and got to my car, I noticed a visible scratch on the inside top right of the lens. I went back immediately to point it out. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, the staff member dismissed my concern and actually mocked me, saying, “These are just $200 glasses—what do you expect?” I told him I wanted to return them, but my online order status hadn’t been updated yet, preventing me from generating a return label. I asked him to update the pickup status so I could proceed with the return. To my shock, he refused and said, “You can just leave the glasses here. I won’t update the status—you’ll get the refund from Ray-Ban anyway.” That’s unacceptable. Eventually, the manager got involved and asked me to come to their second store in the mall, claiming they had a new, scratch-free pair ready. I went there, only to be shown another pair—with a different scratch this time. When I pointed it out, she tried to wipe it off, but again—brand new glasses shouldn’t come with any scratches. At that point, I asked for a full refund. Thankfully, I managed to leave without losing my money, but the entire experience felt shady and completely unprofessional. I expected far better from a brand like Sunglass Hut. I will never return to this store and would strongly advise others to inspect their purchases very carefully—if you shop here at all.

  Informed staff member about I misplaced my Prada sunglasses but loved the lenses that were straight from the manufacturer.
