  Buying shoes online is a pain. You order the size you think is right, but it’s not, so you return them, try another side and so on. That’s what I was so happy to find a local place to buy sailing shoes. Not only did they have an incredible variety of shoes, the team who staffs the store was amazingly customer focused and helpful!!

  Very good customer service! They have such a large selection of clothing that even in May I was able to find a puffy jacket for winter when I go to Switzerland and Germany in December. Again, the customer service was very good, and the staff was patient when I was describing what I was looking for. They checked their inventory list, searched the back and upstairs, and found whvat I wanted. I enjoyed shopping here.

  I had a terrible experience at the Helly Hansen store in Annapolis. I purchased a shirt there and came back to return it, only to be accused of having worn it because “this looks worn.” For context, it was 95 degrees outside. If I had actually worn the shirt, there would have been absolutely no question about it. Instead of handling the return professionally, the staff made an insulting assumption and treated me like I was trying to pull something over on them. That kind of customer service is unacceptable, especially from a premium brand. I left feeling embarrassed, disrespected, and completely turned off from shopping at this location again. Helly Hansen should train its employees to handle returns with basic courtesy instead of accusing customers without evidence.

  Great first experience of the brand. During the boat show of all times! Shannon was incredibly helpful in getting me setup with all the essentials, and REALLY knew her stuff. I look forward to going back for more next season.

  A nice little store with a lot of good Helly Hansen jackets for anyone’s needs. Located in an easily accessible spot. I like it.
