  I am writing to formally address the service I recently received at your Assembly Row location. On April 2, 2026, I purchased two fanny packs from your Braintree location in preparation for my vacation beginning April 5, 2026. Unfortunately, on the first day of my trip, the lining of one of the fanny pack became stuck in the zipper, rendering it unusable. On April 18, 2026, I visited your Somerville, MA (Assembly Row) location to return the damaged item. I had both my receipt and the original card used for the purchase. Despite this, I was treated in a manner that I found to be unprofessional and deeply concerning. The employee who assisted me—a man wearing a baseball hat and khaki shorts—immediately appeared to make assumptions about me. As an African American woman, I felt that I was being unfairly judged. He questioned whether I had the tags and stated that he would not be able to process a return, despite my providing valid proof of purchase. When I reiterated that I had my receipt and card, he accused me of being loud, took the item to the back, and then attempted to offer me a gift card, which was inappropriate given that I had the original form of payment and had even purchased another fanny pack. I then requested to speak with a manager. Unfortunately, the manager’s response was equally unprofessional. It was only after I requested her manager’s name and a corporate contact that she offered what I would describe as an inadequate and dismissive apology. This experience was upsetting and unacceptable. The treatment I received raises serious concerns about bias and customer service standards at your location. I would hope that no other customer has to experience what I did.

  The customer service is awful. They don’t return the product even the product is within the return day and in good condition. Very bad. Never come to this store.

  Horrible service: I went there to get my pants hemmed twice and both came out longer than what I need. I stated it clearly to employees each time that I need the pants to not drag the floor. Tried it on twice and they didn’t pay attention to where I wanted the pants to be cut. I’m done at this point. They acted like they don’t want to be there. No one said hi, thank you or have a good day. I have better experience with Lululemon on Newbury street.

  My absolute favorite clothing to work in and out of the hospital! So worth every penny spent, with the latest styles, always staying relevant and can’t forget the amazing quality. I’ll never stop shopping at lulu!!❤️#notabotjustlovelulu

  Go to another lulu store. Very unhelpful staff and store is very small. I tried to return a Christmas gift for store credit, had tags still on them and never used. Staff made process very difficult and had to reach back out to gifter to have them send me their original email to get any store credit… Could have been handled differently given it was the day after Christmas… would not recommend.
