  TLDR; Do not trust their discounts, or make sure you check everything yourself prior to paying. I was overcharged $97 but they would only give me a gift card for $70 back instead of returning the money I overpayed. I tried to solve this issue with the online customer service team before posting a review but they also failed me. The pricing throughout the store seemed disorganized, and it appeared that the staff were unsure of which promotions were actually being honored. The discounts that should have been applied included the advertised "10 for $38" promotion, but I was charged significantly more than that. Additionally, one wall of merchandise was clearly marked as $10, while another was marked as $5. When I asked about two items I picked up from the $10 section and one item from the $5 section, the manager interrupted me before I could finish explaining and told the employee checking me out to charge "$15 each." This price was not posted on any of the signs. The check-out staff made it clear they did not understand her reasoning for the "$15 each" comment as well. When I asked to ensure the "10 for $38" was being honored, the staff reassured me. Based on my final price at checkout, it was not. Overall, I was overcharged by approximately $97 due to the advertised promotions not being honored. I reached out to the online customer service who at first seemed very helpful, and that they were going to refund me for this issue. Not only did they fully disreguard me asking to have it refunded to my card, they gave me only $70 as a gift card back to American Eagle or Aerie, even when I insisted that I did not want a gift card, because I never wanted to return. They did not even respond to that and completely ignored my request multiple times, before just sending the lower priced gift card. Of course its a chain and all they care about is money, not honoring their discounts or good customer service, so I guess I should have expected it.

  Really bad experience. One of the floor associates (super nice/ strawberry blonde) was helping me with a transaction. She then called over the manager to assist with something she needed help with. The manager was downright nasty to her. Completely disregarded anything she said, rolled her eyes, completely belittled her employee. Did not listen to her or me when trying to explain the situation . Told the employee the issue was she was too slow? Really bad experience for both customer and employee.

  maybe try a different location. the staff were not not friendly. when a sale went wrong, the staff made us stand there while complaining about ordering food and the “never ending amount of customers”. the staff tried to figure it out before giving up and telling us the final price, but the manager came over and called another person who did not know how to solve the issue. in the end we wasted so much time just for us to pay the initial price anyway.
