I shopped here for a mother of the bride dress! They have a lot of dresses! The prices are averaging 200 for a formal dress. Worth the trip! Helpful sales associates!

I just bought shoes at this location on a busy Sunday afternoon. Brock was incredibly helpful! Although it was super crowded, he didn’t make us feel rushed and was happy to find me multiple shoes to ensure that I ended up with the perfect pair! Very happy!

I have generally had positive experiences shopping at Nordstrom, which is why my visit to your Natick, MA location on Saturday, August 1, was so disappointing. Unfortunately, the service I received in the women's dress department means I will not longer be returning. I visited the store to shop for a wedding guest dress and came prepared with four dresses I had identified online that I wanted to see in person. After spending approximately 20 minutes searching the women's dress department for assistance, I became increasingly frustrated. I initially saw a young man and a young woman working at the register, so I looked for a sales associate on the floor. I eventually spotted the young woman and walked toward her, attempting to make eye contact so I could ask for assistance. As soon as she noticed me, she avoided eye contact and changed direction. About five minutes later, I saw her again, and the same thing happened—she avoided eye contact and altered her path to avoid passing by me. The third interaction was the most concerning. By then, I had selected a dress from the rack and simply needed assistance. I walked directly toward her and had only managed to begin saying, "Excuse..." before she turned her back to me and immediately asked another nearby shopper whether they needed help finding anything. At that point, she had clearly seen me multiple times but chose not to acknowledge or assist me. I cannot explain why this happened, but it left me feeling deliberately ignored. Unable to find the young man anywhere on the floor, I walked to the opposite side of the department where an associate named Karen offered to help. She escorted me to a fitting room, and when I showed her the dresses I had found online, she explained that none were available in-store. I then asked if she could help me find another dress. Unfortunately, Karen's response and subsequent actions gave the impression that helping me was not a priority. Throughout my time in the fitting room, she regularly checked on three women in the adjacent fitting rooms while never checking on me once. I waited approximately 15 minutes hoping someone would come by, as I needed help zipping one of the dresses I was trying on. No one ever did. I eventually removed the dress, got dressed, and left the fitting room without ever receiving assistance. As I walked toward the escalator to leave, I saw the same young woman from earlier actively helping other customers browse dresses, and I saw Karen assisting customers at the register. I understand that retail can be busy, and I don't expect immediate service every moment. However, what I experienced felt fundamentally different. I spent a significant amount of time actively trying to receive assistance, only to feel repeatedly overlooked while watching other customers receive attentive service. That is not the level of customer care I have come to expect from Nordstrom. I wanted to bring this experience to your attention because I hope no other customer leaves your store feeling as invisible and unwelcome as I did. I would appreciate your review of this experience and any feedback regarding how it will be addressed.

Writing about a purchase experience. I stopped in to try on suits for a wedding. I was in a bit of a hurry and having a difficult time deciding. The woman (head of the men’s department) told me I could buy something, try it on, and then it would be fine to return it if it wouldn’t work for me. She said I could have it hemmed at the store and that it wouldn’t be a big deal to return it since they were just pinning the material. I had a funny feeling because she was using very aggressive sales tactics but I guess I believe people are fundamentally honest, and Nordstrom has always had a good return policy. I was wrong. Fast forward a week and I wore it around the house and in some different light and it wasn’t good. Not good quality, not good fit. When I called to return it, I was told I was lying, that I was wrong for not thinking the suit was good, and made to feel dumb for even thinking of it, and of course they wouldn’t take it back. The suit isn’t such a big deal but I don’t appreciate the aggressive car lot sales tactics, lying, rudeness. Men, just go upstairs to Brooks Brothers, or somewhere with honest business practices. At some point Nordstrom went from the place to be treated with luxury and respect to… just another expensive store that’s happy to take your money by saying whatever they need to say to make the sale.
