- LMLynette MarreroMay 7, 20261.0I went with my friend last weekend, both shopping for jeans, I was looking at a pair I had in my hands and this employee walk right in front of me and push me with her body out and start looking for a pair as well, no excuse me no nothing, instead she side-eye me and said “let me tell you, thoose are pretty but run really small, wont fit you” I literally can’t believe what I just heard *as I was literally on AE jeans* I didn't reply anything and she look at me and just said “just saying” and walk away… black hair in her 30? Maybe. As a retail manager this is not just extremely unprofessional but disrespectful and unacceptable.
- ARA RApr 19, 20261.0A pretty bad experience as first time shopper. I came in a week ago and had a great experience with a manager who was bubbly and fun. Went in to return some things today and asked the cashier about their experience with their jeans. The entire time he was looking behind me at his manager just for asking about how stretched out the women's jeans get and hardly looked at me as if I was asking a weird question. I wanted to return the jeans since they didn't stay their size and the dark toned woman with long curly hair treated me like some kind of criminal. I'll never shop at AE again and neither will my friends or family.

She said “I guess everybody wants to try on jeans but nobody wants to buy anything.” When I was done trying on jeans, I left the dressing room to put the ones I did not want in the bin but noticed the bin was not there because the same young girl was putting away the clothes. I handed them to her and said I’m sorry can I give these to you? She said absolutely nothing and just grabbed them. I said “thank you” and still nothing. I then proceeded to spend $370 in the store because I love AE jeans but never again will I go to that store because of the attitudes.
