  Very poor service. Employees are having private conversations rather than helping customers. I was the only customer and there were around 5 employees. Very bad.

  I’m honestly very disappointed with my experience at the Alo store in Chestnut Hill. I love the brand, but the customer service at this location was far from what I expected. From the moment I walked in, no one greeted me at the door, which immediately made the store feel unwelcoming. While shopping, I tried to ask for help several times, but the staff seemed to ignore me and showed little interest in assisting customers. What frustrated me the most was when I asked the cashier to check if an item was available in store. She looked at the computer briefly and told me it was unavailable and only sold online. About 10 minutes later, two sales associates came out, and I asked one of them about the exact same item — and they brought it out for me immediately. This made it feel like the cashier either didn’t want to help or didn’t bother checking properly. The attitude throughout the experience was disappointing. The cashier wasn’t friendly, didn’t smile at me, yet I noticed her acting much warmer toward other customers. After checkout, she told me there were no shopping bags left except a very large one. It was raining outside, and my thought was: why does it matter if the bag is big or small? Customers should simply be provided a bag when purchasing items. It almost made me feel like I was expected to carry everything out by hand. Honestly, it also felt like staff may judge customers based on appearance, especially if you are not dressed a certain way or not already wearing their brand. That should never affect how someone is treated. I’ve noticed a similar attitude in multiple Alo stores I’ve visited, including the Copley location, same lack of greeting, same unwelcoming energy, same poor customer service. I genuinely love Alo as a brand, but the staff training needs serious improvement. At the end of the day, every customer deserves respect and good service, no matter how they look or what they’re wearing. Never underestimate your customers.

  I recently ordered a few items during the sale and needed to exchange them for different sizes. Before heading to ALO this morning, I had read quite a few negative Google reviews, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. However, my experience was completely the opposite. I arrived around 10:30 AM, and everyone was incredibly helpful. From the associate who greeted me at the door and offered assistance, to the team in the fitting room who kindly grabbed different sizes for me, to the staff at the front desk who made sure I received the same sale pricing and arranged two-day shipping for an item that was out of stock—everything was handled smoothly and professionally. Overall, it was a great experience, and I think they truly deserve a positive review.

  My “same day” pick up order became a 5 day event. Even though all items were in stock, only one of my items processed and it took days and a complaint for the other items to be ready. I live far away so this was disappointing having to go back and forth. The staff was polite but unwelcoming and not personable at all. I love my items and would love to return to a different store, hoping for a better and seamless experience.

  To be honest this is the worst store I have Visit the workers that’s not friendly and they didn’t want to help you with anything I made purchase for Mother’s Day it’s about a week away and I never received anything about the order I will never buy anything again I tried to Contact to them more than seven times no answer
