- JVJenayah VolmarJul 20, 20261.0Unfortunately today’s experience was disappointing! As a long term customer, I supported Citi Trends for years, frequenting the store, sending friends over with recommendations, and purchases left and right. Because they aren’t a regular commercial store you’d find in big malls, I was understanding about clothing defects, like ink and dirty stains as they would accommodate with a small markdowns for the affected items. With a new policy change, it’s left customers including myself shocked, underwhelmed, and dissatisfied. I wasn’t able to get the clothing item I wanted that was covered in speckles or ink and stains. The distasteful alternative that was highlighted by the manager was intentionally selected the filthiest and most defective one to be partially compensated. I hope that small stores continue to value their customers feedback, as we are the glue to keep businesses like these alive.
