I was told to wait 3 days for my refund and then was told I couldn’t get it. I spent over 100$ and couldn’t get store credit , re shipment or ANYTHING. So disgusting

You guys have the best girls working the fitting room I was struggling to find jeans that I liked and that fit me one of the girls kept finding ones for me it was like having a personalized shopper. I will be back next time I need jeans.

American Eagle Braintree Shopping & Returning while Black!
I have been shopping at the American Eagle store in Braintree for many years, going back to when my daughter was in middle school. I also grew up in Braintree, so this store has always been somewhere I felt comfortable shopping.
Unfortunately, a recent experience left me extremely disappointed.
I placed an online order that was shipped to the store. When I arrived, I realized one of the items was the wrong color due to an accidental selection during checkout. I simply wanted to exchange the item so the outfit would match, or return the order altogether.
I had my bank card, identification, and the American Eagle app showing the purchase. Despite this, the store manager refused to allow me to return one of the items while allowing the leggings from the same order to be returned. When I asked if they could simply return the entire order since an exchange was not possible, I was told I had to wait until another item arrived before anything else could be returned.
The way the situation was handled made me feel uncomfortable and singled out. As a long-time customer who had all documentation for the purchase, I could not understand why a simple return was being denied. The experience left me feeling profiled rather than assisted.
I hope American Eagle reviews how situations like this are handled in the future. Loyal customers deserve fair and respectful treatment when resolving basic purchase issues.
I was told the by corporate bias is at the leisure of store management. I have not had this experience in Hingham or any other stores.

I just wanted to give a shout out to Olivia, I believe she is one of the managers. I went to make a return and pick up on 2/7 Saturday morning and she was the best. She knew what she was doing and was so sweet. It was the best retail experience I’ve had in a long time. Thank you Olivia!
